“A fifth budget extender was passed yesterday, and it’s anyone’s guess how many more extenders there will be. It’s unfortunate the budget continues to be put off and I can only imagine how confusing these circumstances must be to New York families who have been left in the dark with regard to budget discussions. When can a finalized budget be expected? Will the budget deliver the funding needed or will it fall short? Hopefully, we are through with extenders so we can finally complete this state budget.”
