This year we took decisive action in the Assembly to take on the scourge of gun violence that we have seen across the country. We cannot allow this decision to compromise the work that we have done to keep New Yorkers safe. I'm committed to returning to Albany for a special session to respond to this decision and continue to strengthen our gun laws.”
