Assemblywoman Marjorie Byrnes (R,C-Caledonia) is announcing two special opportunities for the public to meet with her to get help on any state issues they may have, hear about what is going on at the state Capitol or simply to say hello. The informal Visiting Office Hours events will be held at the Perry Public Library on Saturday, Feb. 24 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and the West Sparta Town Hall on Saturday, March 23 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.

“There are many issues my staff and I can help people with. From licensing issues to concerns about broadband access, or questions you may have about making your home utility bills more affordable,” said Byrnes. “We are here to help. It is important to me that people in the community know we are a resource to them, and it is my hope that adding these Visiting Office Hours on the weekend will only make it that much easier for people to get help.”

The assemblywoman reminds constituents they may contact her district office in Avon at any time during normal business hours (Monday to Friday 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.) by calling (585) 218-0038 or by writing to them at 79 Genesee St., Avon, NY 14414. You can also email her at byrnesm@nyassembly.gov.

Additionally, her office offers a satellite office in Wayland every Thursday with her Community Liaison Mike Palmesano from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. at the Wayland Town Hall. The assemblywoman will also be available at this satellite office on occasion from noon to 2 p.m., including on the following dates: Feb. 22, April 25 and June 27.
