Assemblywoman Byrnes Joins Public for the Opening of Her Hornell Satellite Office

“By opening our new office in Hornell, we are continuing to ensure that everyone throughout our district has easy access to the legislative resources and services my offices can provide,” said Byrnes. “We want to be there to assist anyone who walks in our door or reaches out to us, and by opening another office, we will be able to handle constituent concerns more efficiently. I’m always proud to be serving the people of the 133rd Assembly District, which is why my door is always open to them.”

The new satellite office address is Hornell City Hall, 82 Main St, Hornell, NY 14843 and will be open for office hours held by Byrnes every other Thursday from 10a.m.-12p.m. beginning next Thursday, September 12, and will be ongoing for as long as the legislative session calendar permits. The new satellite office will be managed by Community Liaison Mike Palmesano, who will hold constituent hours every Thursday from 2p.m.-4p.m. and by appointment as necessary. His focus will be handling concerns regarding the southern portion of the district and the Steuben County region.

Mike Palmesano is familiar to area residents as the owner of vintage Corvettes used in parades and community events around town. Mike is an active member of the City of Hornell GOP Committee, S.C.O.P.E., and the Hornell YMCA. He participates in many community events with his wife Suzy. Mike is a graduate of SUNY Alfred and retired from ABB Air Preheater, Inc., Wellsville, New York, as a Project Manager with 33 years of service. Mike also retired from the Army Reserves, 98th Division, with 26 years of service. Mike ultimately achieved the rank of Sergeant Major.

If residents are unable to make these times, they will continue to have access to the district office at 79 Genesee St. Avon, NY 14414, and can always call the main office phone at (585) 218-0038.
