Byrnes: Curfew Is Last Call for Local Employers in Need of Relief

A Statement from Assemblywoman Marjorie Byrnes (R,C-Caledonia)

“Our restaurants and bars are the bread and butter businesses along our main streets in rural, small towns across New York. They are also, collectively, some of our largest employers. Despite scientific evidence proving they are not responsible for the spread of COVID-19, these hardworking business owners and their employees have complied with the shutdown and other unreasonable restrictions on their life’s work for the last year. Too many have suffered and already been forced to close forever. Those who have been able to hold on, cannot do so for much longer and this early curfew will be their ‘last call’ if it is not rescinded immediately.”
