Slater Asks District to Support Operation Cupid

Assemblyman Matthew Slater (R,C-Yorktown) is asking constituents in his district to show their support for our soldiers through United for the Troops’ “Operation Cupid”. Operation Cupid is an annual event created by United for the Troops to send care packages to active-duty members of the military. The deadline is fast approaching (January 25), so remember to help those who give their lives for us every day.

“Our troops have the courage and bravery to ensure the protection of families here in the greatest country in the world. Expressing our appreciation for these active military members is important to recognize the sacrifices they make during their service,” said Slater. “As a Navy veteran, I understand the importance of receiving reassurance that there are people thinking of you back home, especially during the holiday season. Please consider making a donation or taking time to create something that may bring joy to a service member.”

For more information, call United for the Troops at 845-729-4239 or visit the United for the Troops Web site.

Deadline is January 25.
