AngioDynamics’ Revised Strategy Retains 40% Workforce in Queensbury

A Statement from Assemblyman Matt Simpson (R,C-Lake George)

“AngioDynamics’ decision to retain 40% of its workforce in Queensbury is a promising development for the community and highlights the company’s commitment to the region. This move preserves valuable jobs and reinforces the importance of innovation in an evolving med-tech landscape,” said Simpson.

“Our region has a skilled workforce, which is incredibly valuable for companies like AngioDynamics, and the value of our local workforce is, in part, what drove this strategic shift. I commend AngioDynamics for finding a way to adapt after previously announcing that it would be shutting down its Queensbury and Glens Falls facilities by the end of 2025. As a result, well over 100 jobs will be saved,” said Simpson.
