Assemblyman Matt Simpson to Address Key Challenges and Priorities for 2025 Legislative Session

Wednesday Marks First Day of Legislative Session in Albany

Today, Assemblyman Matt Simpson (R,C-Lake George) reaffirmed his commitment to tackling the pressing issues facing New Yorkers.

“Our state is a leader in out-migration, and it’s clear we need to create opportunities that make staying here affordable and worthwhile. From improving infrastructure for wastewater and sewage to expanded broadband access, we can enable housing affordability and encourage growth,” said Simpson.

“We need to make sure our seniors aren’t left behind and that our students have the tools they need to succeed without overwhelming school budgets with unnecessary state mandates. We can address these challenges head-on, and I look forward to getting back to work for the 114th district,” Simpson concluded.
