Norris Launches “Christmas in July” Toy Drive

Donated Toys Will Help Children at Oishei Children’s Hospital

Assemblyman Mike Norris (R,C,I,Ref-Lockport) launched his “Christmas in July” Toy Drive today at the John R. Oishei Children’s Hospital in Buffalo. Residents and businesses throughout Western New York are encouraged to participate in the toy drive to help children at the hospital.

“There is nothing more heartbreaking than a sick or injured child. Oishei Children’s Hospital has helped so many children and families throughout our region. Donating a toy is a small gesture that can truly make such a large impact on the health, recovery and well-being of children when they are at their most vulnerable,” said Norris.

“We are so grateful to Assemblyman Mike Norris for putting together this toy drive for our kids and families at the hospital,” said Allegra C. Jaros, MBA, president of Oishei Children’s Hospital. “Toy donations become especially important around this time of the year as our supply from the holiday season is beginning to run low. This drive comes at the perfect time to help lift the spirits of our babies, kids and families here at Oishei Children’s Hospital!”

Persons wishing to donate new and unused toys can drop items off at Norris’ office in Clarence (8180 Main Street, Clarence, NY 14221), the Clarence Public Library (3 Town Place, Clarence, NY 14031), or the Lockport Public Library (23 East Avenue, Lockport, NY 14094) now through July 19, 2019.
