Assemblywoman Solages Honors Community Leaders at her 12th Annual Women of Distinction Ceremony
Nine community members recognized for their contributions to the 22nd Assembly District
Floral Park, NY– On Sunday, March 16th, 2025, Assemblywoman Michaelle C. Solages collaborated with HerSuiteSpot to host her 12th Annual Women of Distinction ceremony at Sewanhaka High School. This special event celebrated nine exceptional women who were nominated by community members for their outstanding leadership and service within the 22nd Assembly District.
The ceremony drew a crowd of over 300 community members and featured several distinguished guests, including U.S. Representative Laura Gillen, Village of South Floral Park Mayor Nyakya Brown, Nassau County Legislator Seth Koslow, and Nassau County Legislator Carrie Solages.
The evening’s festivities were led by Master of Ceremonies Daisy Stephen Pallipparambil, who guided the audience through a memorable program. The Sewanhaka and Elmont High School jazz bands delivered captivating performances, adding a vibrant touch to the celebration. Honorees were recognized with official proclamations from the New York State Assembly, commemorating their remarkable achievements and contributions.
Following the ceremony, guests enjoyed a delightful reception featuring a meal catered by Nolan’s Cuisine, The Halal Bros Kabab Grill, and Liberty Coke.
