Valley Stream, NY – Assemblywoman Michaelle Solages (D-Elmont) held a celebratory opening of her district office at 1690 Central Court in Valley Stream on Sunday, October 27, 2013. The well-attended event featured a ribbon cutting ceremony with local community members, business leaders, and elected officials. In an effort to fight hunger in the community, Assemblywoman Solages encouraged those in attendance to bring non-perishable food items for a food drive in conjunction with Long Island Cares.
“My staff and I have been working hard since January. Now that my first legislative session is complete, I want to bring everyone together in the community” said Assemblywoman Solages. “Listening to your needs and concerns and getting results is my job. I'll continue working to be the strong voice that Nassau families deserve" said Assemblywoman Solages.
Assemblywoman Michaelle Solages represents the 22nd Assembly District which includes North Valley Stream, Valley Stream, South Valley Stream, South Floral Park, Floral Park, Bellerose Terrace, North Woodmere, Elmont, Stewart Manor, and parts of Franklin Square.
