22nd AD Community Garden Coalition
Assemblywoman Michaelle C. Solages, in partnership with the Cornell Cooperative Extension, is in the exploratory phase of creating a new community garden in the 22nd Assembly District. Community gardens provide many benefits to their neighborhoods, including beautiful green open space and a local source for fresh produce.
A 22nd AD Community Garden Coalition will be established to ensure input from residents. Coalition members will have involvement in various aspects of establishing the community garden, including garden location, selection of plant varieties, volunteer opportunities, details of beatification design, and creating a sustainable produce garden for families in the district to explore and enjoy. Coalition members will be equipped with the appropriate tools to learn and enhance their gardening skills. Assemblywoman Solages invites all residents interested in being part of the 22nd AD Community Gardening Coalition to register.
