Lawler: We Must Work Together To End Anti-Semtism

Ramapo, NY, 6/27/2022… Assemblyman Mike Lawler (R,C,I,SAM - Pearl River) released the following statement in response to news that the Town of Ramapo Police Department had arrested an individual charged with Aggravated Harassment and a Hate Crime.

“I'm pleased to hear that the Town of Ramapo Police Department has made an arrest in the hate crime against a synagogue in my Assembly District. We all need to denounce anti-Semitism wherever we encounter it and we must all work towards building a more perfect country and county. In the State Assembly, I worked in a bipartisan way to pass legislation that will require every school in New York State to provide an education on the horrors of the Holocaust as well as a legislative resolution calling on Governor Hochul to proclaim September 8th as End Jew Hatred Day. Together, we can and will end Anti-Semitism and Jew Hatred in the United States.”
