Malliotakis Named 2014 ‘Hellene Of The Year’ By NYPD Greek Orthodox Fraternal Organization

Lawmaker was honored at annual St. Paul’s Society gala

Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis (R,C,I-Brooklyn, Staten Island) was honored Friday evening by the St. Paul’s Society of the New York Police Department (NYPD) as their 2014 “Hellene of the Year” in recognition of her dedication and effortless support of Law Enforcement in the Hellenic Community.

“I couldn’t be more proud to be recognized by the St. Paul’s Society, a fraternal organization comprised of men and women of the Police Department who put their lives on the line daily to protect our city and keep us safe. While they were the ones who presented me with this award, I couldn't be more grateful to them for what they do each and every day for our families, friends and neighbors,” said Malliotakis.
