‘Yoga On The Beach’ Continues This Month!

Event is free and open to public

Residents participate in 'Yoga on the Beach' sponsored by Assemblywoman Malliotakis.

After a successful start, yoga classes continue on Staten Island's beautiful waterfront – and they're free! Assemblywoman Nicole Malliotakis (R,C,I-East Shore) has once again partnered with 5 Boro Power Yoga to offer a series of free yoga classes on the beach for the third consecutive year. The events provide a fun and relaxing way to improve physical health and mental well-being and are for all ages!

“These yoga classes are a wonderful opportunity to enjoy our beautiful waterfront, while taking part in an exercise with great physical and mental benefits. These free activities are great for families and people of all ages, from young children to senior citizens. I look forward to seeing everyone at the beach!” said Assemblywoman Malliotakis.

The free, beachfront events at Turtle Circle (Father Capodanno Blvd. and Jefferson Ave.) will be held on:

  • Saturday, August 15 at 9:00 a.m.
  • Monday, August 24 at 6:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, September 12 at 9:00 a.m.

Special kids’ yoga is available for children ages five and up. Please bring a yoga mat or towel and arrive 15 minutes early to prepare.
