“This law, passed with bipartisan support in the Senate and the Assembly, honors the men and women in the state workforce who chose to serve our country in the armed forces. As a veteran, I am particularly thankful that this legislation was signed into law by Governor Cuomo. It reminds us all of the sacrifices that are made by those who have served.
