Assemblyman Pat Chludzinski Sworn in to Represent 143rd District in New York State Assembly
Assemblyman Pat Chludzinski (R,C-Cheektowaga) was officially sworn in as a member of the New York State Assembly, proudly representing the 143rd District. The district includes the Erie County towns of Cheektowaga and Lancaster, the villages of Depew and Sloan, and portions of the Ellicott, Fillmore, and Lovejoy Districts in the City of Buffalo. Chludzinski brings a wealth of experience and a strong dedication to serving the community he has called home his entire life.
Before taking office, Chludzinski joined the Cheektowaga Police Department in 1999 as a patrolman, and through his work ethic, dedication and professionalism, has steadily risen through the ranks over the last 25 years. He became a patrol sergeant in 2008, was promoted to lieutenant in 2013 and accepted his last assignment as detective lieutenant of the Youth and Family Offense Unit in 2022.
“I am honored to represent the residents of the 143rd District in the State Assembly,” said Chludzinski. “I look forward to bringing the voices and concerns of our community to Albany and fighting for solutions that improve the quality of life for all New Yorkers. Together, we will work to address the challenges we face and build a brighter future.”
Chludzinski has already outlined key priorities for his term, including making New York affordable, supporting law enforcement and preserving the unique character of the 143rd District while ensuring it remains a vibrant and welcoming place for future generations.
