Chludzinski Honors Veterans in Albany for Vietnam Veterans Day

Assemblyman Pat Chludzinski (R,C-Cheektowaga), a decorated military veteran himself, joined fellow legislators, veterans and community members at the Capitol today to commemorate Vietnam Veterans Day and pay tribute to the brave men and women who served during the Vietnam War.

“As a veteran, I understand firsthand the sacrifices our service members make and the challenges they face both in uniform and when they return home,” said Chludzinski. “Vietnam Veterans Day is an opportunity to give these heroes the recognition they deserve, ensuring their bravery and sacrifices are never forgotten.”

Vietnam Veterans Day serves as a solemn reminder of the hardships and heroism of those who served, many of whom did not receive the gratitude they earned when they came home. Chludzinski reaffirmed his commitment to standing with veterans, advocating for the resources and support they need.

“We can never fully repay the debt we owe these men and women, but we must always honor their service and ensure they receive the care and respect they have earned,” Chludzinski added.
