Assemblyman Robert Smullen (R,C-Mohawk Valley and the Adirondacks) is excited to announce his committee assignments for 2025-2026. Smullen has newly been appointed chairman of the Minority Conference, reappointed ranking Minority member of the Higher Education Committee, and will serve as a member of the Banks, Environmental Conservation, Ethics and Guidance, Veterans’ Affairs, and Ways and Means Committees.

“It is my pleasure to receive these committee assignments for the upcoming year,” said Smullen. “It’s been my privilege to serve as ranking Minority member of the Higher Education Committee, and I am looking forward to continue supporting and fighting for our students statewide. I am also very excited to serve as chairman of the Minority Conference for the first time in the new year.
