New York City Citywide Administrative Services

The City of New York offers many internship opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students.

City Government Internships: City government internships allow students to make important contributions to the City while participating in a challenging and rewarding work experience.

Criteria for Participation: To participate in the summer internship opportunities, in City agencies, graduate students must currently be enrolled or accepted into a graduate program and undergraduate students must currently be enrolled or accepted into a college or university.

Kings County District Attorney's Office

The Brooklyn District Attorney's Office offers high school, college and legal internships throughout the year. These highly competitive internships offer students a unique opportunity to be part of a district attorney's office. An intern's duties may include assisting in investigations, attending trials, preparing and compiling documents and financial data, conducting and analyzing legal research, and supporting community outreach programs.

Simon Wiesenthal Center Leadership with Global Reach

For the summer of 2017 the Simon Wiesenthal Center is proud to announce the second year of its one of a kind, local Government Advocacy Internship Program. This program is centered on encouraging and educating the next generation of Jewish youth to the mechanics of state and municipal government, politics and advocacy. It serves college and graduate school­ aged students in its first year from the New York, New Jersey and Connecticut regions.

The NYC Teaching Fellows program is one of the country's largest and most selective alternative teacher preparation programs. As a Fellow, you'll train in NYC classrooms, working one­on­one with experienced coaches to get the feedback you need to become a talented teacher, ready to make a profound difference for NYC's students.

The Urban Fellows Program is sponsored by The City of New York and administered by the Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS). The program is designed to introduce America's finest college students and graduates to local government and public service.

Girls Who Code

Girls Who Code was founded to close the gender gap in technology. Their aim is to build the largest pipeline of female engineers in the country. They have chapters throughout New York and the United States. They are looking for college interns and also offer a summer immersion program for 10th and 11th grade girls.
