Community Residents Take Advantage of Assemblyman Simcha Eichenstein's E-Waste Disposal Event

Over a hundred members of the community participated in today’s free e-waste disposal event hosted by Assemblyman Simcha Eichenstein. The event was held in front of the Assemblyman’s district office at 1310 48th Street and presented an opportunity for constituents to properly dispose of the electronic waste accumulating in their homes.

Those who participated in the event expressed their appreciation to Assemblyman Eichenstein for allowing them to dispose of their old, outdated, or broken electronic devices which were collecting dust and adding to the clutter in their homes. At the e-waste event, they could dispose of these unused electronics in a responsible and legal manner.

“I am glad that so many people showed up today with their unused computers, laptops, printers, cellphones, and other electronic waste,” said Assemblyman Eichenstein. “It is my pleasure to offer these services so that our local residents can get rid of these items that are cluttering their homes. I hope to host more such events to benefit my constituents in the future.”

The e-waste event was held on Tuesday from 11:00 AM to 5:00 PM. For information on upcoming community events sponsored by Assemblyman Eichenstein, contact the Assemblyman’s office at 718-853-9616.
