On Wednesday, April 17, 2024, during legislative session in the Assembly Chamber, Assembly Minority Leader Will Barclay (R,C-Pulaski) and members of the Minority Conference recognized Army veterans on Honor Flight Day. Leader Barclay was joined by Timothy Benson, of Central Square, who served during the Vietnam War.

Assemblymembers had the privilege of acknowledging veterans through a resolution commemorating the second annual Honor Flight Day in New York, thanking Benson and the other veterans for their bravery in service to our country. Their commitment to protecting our American values will never be taken for granted, and these Honor Flight veterans will always be welcome at the Capitol.
