Leader Barclay and Local Officials Tour BioSpherix
Assembly Minority Leader Will Barclay (R,C-Pulaski) recently toured BioSpherix, a biotechnology research company located in Parish. What started in 1982 as a one-man operation founded by Oswego County resident Randy Yerden has evolved into an industry leader in advanced cell and tissue technology.
Companies like BioSpherix play a critical role in the state’s growth and prosperity through their economic contributions and advancements in science.
“Not only does BioSpherix employ more than 30 people, but they are on a trajectory to grow and hope to develop more partnerships with researchers and local colleges. I was thrilled to learn how this company is expanding and where it hopes to be,” said Leader Barclay.
BioSpherix builds and sells controlled environments that researchers use to study medicine, diseases and cell development. To learn more visit https://biospherix.com/.
