4-H Students Learn about State Government in Albany
April 12, 2011
Teens from Oswego County recently traveled to Albany to learn about New York State Government and the legislative process as part of 4-H. The Oswego County 4-H program is an informal educational program for youth, designed to teach life skills. The program is administered through Cornell Cooperative Extension and the National 4-H Council. Assemblyman Will Barclay (R,C,I—Pulaski) and Sen. Patty Richie met with the students and their leader in Albany at a breakfast event for the students as part of a three-day weekend in Albany. Pictured here, from the left, are Ritchie, 4-H members Joanna LeFevre and Tara Fresch, 4-H leader Cindy Fresch, and Barclay (R,C,I—Pulaski). Call 315-963-7286 to learn more about 4-H.
