Barclay Re-Appointed Deputy Minority Leader
Assemblyman Will Barclay (R,C,I-Pulaski) was recently re-appointed Deputy Minority Leader to the Minority Conference by Assembly Minority Leader Brian Kolb (R,I,C-Canandaigua) for 2013.
“I am pleased to have the opportunity again to serve in a leadership role in the Assembly,” said Barclay. “I look forward again to working closely with the Leader on the many initiatives put forth through our conference.”
In addition to his reappointment as Minority Leader, Barclay will serve on the following Assembly Committees: Energy, Judiciary, Rules, and Ways and Means. He is also currently the ranking minority member on the Insurance Committee.
“These committees allow me to work on the ground level of many issues and participate in crafting legislation that impacts all New Yorkers,” said Barclay. ”I look forward to continuing the work we did last year on these committees to improve our entire state.”
