Barclay Honors Local Student With Resolution
This week, Assemblyman Will Barclay (R,C,I-Pulaski) honored Baker High School student-athlete Tyler Rouse with an official resolution on the Assembly floor. Rouse was named Gatorade 2012-13 NY Football Player of the Year for his impressive season for the Baldwinsville Bees and was the first Baker High student to earn this distinction. On top of his success on the gridiron, Rouse also maintained a B+ average in his classes and has served as an exemplary figure in his community.
“It was a true privilege to honor one of our local students in the Assembly this week,” said Barclay. “Tyler’s success on the field and in the classroom serves as a shining example to the community, and I expect nothing but the best from both him and his teammates in the future.”
