Assembly Honors Paninski for Earning First Place in National Archery Competition
Assemblyman Will Barclay (R,C,I--Pulaski) recently honored Altmar-Parish Williamstown High School's Jarid Paninski for capturing first place in the New York State National Archery in the Schools Program competition. Barclay is pictured above presenting Paninski with an Assembly Resolution. This spring, the State Assembly recognized Paninski for capturing the title in archery. The National Archery in the Schools Program is a cooperative effort between conservation agencies, school systems, and private organizations to bring the sport to students across the state. It's designed to encourage and improve participation in outdoor-type activities among students of all abilities. Barclay was pleased to honor Paninski for his accomplishments. The State Senate, at the request of Sen. Patty Ritchie, also passed a resolution honoring Paninski.
