Local Resident Inducted into NYS Outdoorsmen Hall of Fame, Recognized with State Resolution
Chuck Parker, a long time enthusiast of outdoor recreation, was presented with a New York State Assembly resolution congratulating him on his recent induction into the New York State Outdoorsmen Hall of Fame.
Parker is the president of the New York State Conservation Council. He has served as a hunter safety instructor and became a master instructor. He served as past president of the Mad River Club, and is the current president of the Oswego County Federation of Sportsmen’s Club, Inc. He’s also involved with the Ann Jardin 2016 Olympic Dream Team Committee and other groups as well.
“Chuck Parker has put in countless volunteer hours to various efforts and organizations aimed at improving outdoor sports, increasing safety, and protecting the environment,” said Barclay. “He is a friend to nature, a friend to those who work to conserve our natural resources, and our right to bear arms.”
Parker was formally inducted into the NYS Outdoorsmen Hall of Fame on April 25 at the Rusty Rail in Canastota. Assemblyman Will Barclay (R,C,I—Pulaski) congratulated Parker on this great honor and presented him with a New York State Assembly resolution.
