“It is difficult to believe that today is the 15th anniversary of the tragic events that occurred on 9-11. While time has passed, we need to continue to remember the lives lost and the families who were so deeply affected by those losses. We should also recall and honor the countless acts of bravery, heroism and kindness shown during and after that tragic time. Particularly, we should recall and honor the individuals in uniform — military personnel, police and firefighters — who gave their own lives in effort to save others.”
