Public Donates Hundreds of Shoes for Annual Drive
December 13, 2017
Assemblyman Will Barclay’s office recently collected about 100 pairs of shoes for the annual Tithe My Shoes drive – an effort led by Mudd Murphy to supply shoes to those in need. Murphy recently collected the shoes from the Assemblyman’s office to bring to Discount Shoe Repair in Syracuse where they will be refurbished and then delivered to the Oswego Rescue Mission. Barclay’s office was one of five sites in the county which collected shoes for the annual drive. In total, almost 900 pairs of shoes were collected this year.
