Barclay Commends VOW’s Drug Prevention, Education Efforts Encourages Public to Attend Upcoming Resource Fair
Assemblyman Will Barclay (R,C,I,Ref—Pulaski) recently met with Teresa Woolson, founder of the Victor Orlando Woolson (VOW) Foundation. VOW will host its fifth annual informational educational outreach fair on April 29 from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Lake Ontario Event and Conference Center at 26 East 1st St. in Oswego. This year's event will feature updated information about synthetic drugs, opioid epidemic, treatment options, and prevention methods. Children's activities and games will be available. “VOW’s dedication to helping people understand the danger of drug addiction is an invaluable resource for our community. I hope that people come and learn more about prevention and how to help protect themselves and loved ones from drug abuse. Teresa is a great advocate for changes at the local, state and federal level and I’m happy to do what I can to help her foundation’s mission,” said Barclay.
