The decision by the New York State Department of Labor today is a win for small businesses statewide. Without needless call-in scheduling regulations, businesses wont be burdened by costly new mandates. In recent years, thousands of residents have left New York and if we continue over-regulating small businesses, this trend will likely continue. Im relieved the Labor Department made this decision but we have a long way to go to make this a more business-friendly state.
