Barclay Joins Governor To Discuss Lake Ontario Flooding Crisis

A statement from Assemblyman Will Barclay (R,C,I-Ref-Pulaski) following a meeting with Gov. Cuomo and state legislators to discuss Lake Ontario’s rising water levels.

“Today, I was pleased to meet with the governor, his staff and other Lake Ontario legislators to discuss flooding along Lake Ontario,” said Barclay. “I’m happy the governor recognizes how catastrophic these rising water levels are to local municipalities, residences and businesses along the shoreline. I look forward to working with him, his staff and my colleagues in the Legislature to address this crisis and to revise or revoke Plan 2014. It’s critical we formulate a plan with long-term solutions for property owners along the shoreline to ensure their homes and businesses are protected and safe.”
