Assemblyman William Colton (D – Gravesend, Bensonhurst, Bath Beach, and Dyker Heights) yesterday afternoon attended police luncheon at the 62 Precinct. organized by Dr. Gary Chen and his wife Dr. Hongshu Feng who both practice in the neighborhood to show community support and appreciation of our police.

“I, together with community leaders Tim Law and Angel Wu, have joined Dr. Chen in sponsoring this special luncheon. The officers seemed very pleased at this community show of support and recognition of their good work. It is important we all come together and recognize our police officers who are working every day risking their lives to keep our families safe. This was an amazing celebration including great food,” Colton stated.

“In these difficult times in which we still coping with the COVID crisis, we celebrate Christmas, Chanukah, Kwanzaa, and the coming New Year. Hopefully, New Year will bring us a new beginning. I wish all the officers a safe, blessed, and healthy holiday season,” Colton added.
