Assemblyman William Colton (D – Gravesend, Bensonhurst, Bath Beach, and Dyker Heights) will hold a press conference condemning the act of vandalism on the Holocaust Monument with writings and drawings. Such an act at a renowned Holocaust Memorial is highly offensive to Holocaust survivors and to all in the community. It is a criminal act and I am demanding a full investigation leading to the arrest and prosecution, to the full extent of the law, of those responsible. Also, there must be an investigation by the NYPD Anti-Hate Crime Task Force to treat this act as a hate crime.
