Colton Teams Up With Marine Corps for Toys for Tots
Assemblyman William Colton (47AD D, WFP) has partnered with the Marine Corps Reserve Toys for Tots program. Every year, this program is an opportunity for less privileged kids to receive new toys for the holidays. 47 Assembly District Leaders Nancy Tong and Charles Ragusa are also sponsoring the program.
For the past several years Assemblyman Colton has established toy drives to make the holidays better for needy children of our community including to families in military service.
This year collection of new toys has begun at Assemblyman Colton's office, located at 155 Kings Highway, between West 12th and 13th Streets from October 1st. This event will last until December 23, so he encourages everyone to give a little something.
Assemblyman Colton is extremely supportive of this program and says, "Toys for Tots is a program that really brings out the meaning of the holiday season. Every donation reaches out to a child in need who can truly experience the holiday spirit.
Colton stated, “By making a small contribution of toys, we not only make the holidays better for needy children but we all have the satisfaction of doing something good and we help to unite us all in working together for a better neighborhood.”
