Assemblyman Colton is Back on the Subway to Meet and Greet His Constituents
Assemblyman William Colton (D – Gravesend, Bensonhurst, Bath Beach, and Dyker Heights) is back on the subway to meet and greet his constituents.
“Since I was came to the Assembly, many mornings I was going on the various subway lines whether its sunny, cold or hot weather to meet my constituents and to understand better what are their issues or views and explain to them the help that my office provides for the district,” Colton said.
“Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, our lives were put on hold and I couldn’t do my routine visits on the subways to meet my constituents. Now since everything little by little is getting back to normal, I am back on the subway. Monday morning, my day started as early as 7:15 a.m. I was at 18th Avenue D Line Station to meeting riders and reminding them that my Community Office is located at 155 Kings Highway. It remains open and is ready to help with all sorts of problems, concerns, and issues. My office sees some 4,000 walk-ins every year,” Colton added.
