Assemblywoman Carrozza
working to help you stay warm and healthy by:

  • Ensuring that seniors – who through no fault of their own were being denied prescription drugs – will be covered for their medications during the implementation of the federal Medicare Part D program

  • Expanding the Home Energy Assistance Program or HEAP to provide nearly $16.4 million more to New York City families struggling with skyrocketing energy prices (Ch. 5 of 2006, Ch. 6 of 2006) and extending program eligibility to May 15th so families have access to help if end-of-season emergencies occur

  • Creating a Web site where consumers can compare prices of the most commonly prescribed drugs at every pharmacy in the state, making it easier to find the lowest prices possible (Ch. 293 of 2005)
