We need to make sure everyone has access to the health care they need. The new Prescription $aver Card, issued by the New York State Department of Health, is one way to help ensure our residents can afford the medicine they depend on to stay well.

The Health Department has applications for the free card. The program offers participants significant discounts on thousands of prescription medications, providing savings of up to 60 percent on generic drugs and 30 percent on brand name drugs.

This pamphlet provides you with guidelines about eligibility and contact information for the Prescription $aver Card program.
