| HEREAS, | New York State Assembly Member Daniel O'Donnell, with the New York Public Library, sponsors The Community Reading Challenge; and | |||
| WHEREAS, | The Community Reading Challenge is designed to encourage the youth of the 69th Assembly District of New York State to develop a life-long love of reading and visit their community libraries; and | |||
| WHEREAS, | The Community Reading Challenge promotes fun and exciting ways for children to discover the power of literature; and | |||
| WHEREAS, | Joey Cruz, Aaron Jordan Edwards, Abraham Garcia, Jeffrey Gomez, Tatiana Gonzales-Ramos, Oriana Gonzales-Ramos, Kevin Goshom, Dimani Guillory, Nahtique Guillory, Erick Hamer, Chanel Jean-Michel, Zane Larsen, Azalea Leon, Iananno Manning, Jr., Carmen Rose Mina, Tré Jordan Reed, J'Cree Sanders, Melissa Seales and Kristofer Snipes, as well as others not specifically listed here, have completed The Community Reading Challenge at the George Bruce Branch Library in the City of New York. | RESOLVED, | in view of the outstanding achievements of these children and all others who participated in the Challenge, I, Daniel J. O'Donnell, New York State Assembly Member, 69th District, by the power and authority vested in me, this seventh day of April, 2006, join in honoring them as truly outstanding individuals on this special occasion. | |||
