Blood banks are always looking for residents willing to donate blood. The blood YOU donate today can save someone’s life tomorrow! To be a donor, you must:

• Bring proper photo identification
• Weigh at least 110 lbs
• Be at least 17 years old (16-year-olds need a Red Cross parental-permission slip)
• Eat well and be hydrated prior to appointment
• For eligibility questions, please call the Red Cross at 1-800-RED CROSS.

Walk-ins are welcome. To schedule an appointment, contact the American Red Cross-Allegany County Office at 585-593-1531 or 1-800-RED CROSS.
