Non-exempt adults receiving Temporary Assistance for
Needy Families (TANF), including 16 and 17 year olds not in school

subsidized private sector employment, work experience, on-the-job training,
job search, job readiness training, community service, vocational education,
job skills training, education training, high school or equivalent, and child

DESCRIPTION:
|
TANF is the federal block grant program which provides
assistance to needy families with children. It seeks to reduce dependency by
promoting job preparation and work. Under the State's program, recipients
are furnished with work activities and supportive services with the goal of
entry into unsubsidized employment.
