Palumbo Votes No As The Assembly Majority Puts Criminals First

Statement from Assemblyman Anthony Palumbo (R,C,I,Ref-New Suffolk)
February 14, 2017

“The Raise the Age bill brought to the floor today is a serious public safety concern,” said Palumbo. “It puts our families and community at risk. Raising the age of criminal responsibility to 18 not only ignores our victims, it also takes all discretion from the District Attorney when prosecuting violent felons. This Raise the Age overhaul is dangerous.”
