- Assembly Member ODonnell reads The Very Hungry Caterpillar by Eric Carle to children at Bloomingdale Family Program. The event was part of Jumpstarts Read for the Record, an international campaign to bring preschool children together with grownups to read the same book, on the same day, in communities all over the world. Jumpstart promotes reading aloud with preschool children as the groundwork for strong literacy skills and future success in school and in life.
