Welcome Letter

Dear Neighbor,

Welcome to my New York State Assembly webpage.

This page is intended to share important information with you about the work I do both in Albany and around our community in an effort to build a better and stronger New York. On this page you will be able to keep apprised of legislation, issues and important initiatives my team is engaged in on behalf of the people of the 136th Assembly District.

It is a privilege to represent the people of the Towns of Brighton and Irondequoit and the City of Rochester. As your representative in Albany, my top priority is to be your voice in the People’s House, the New York State Assembly. However I can only be an effective representative in Albany after hearing from the families and neighbors in our community. I pledge to always be here to listen, and strongly advocate for the residents who live within the 136th Assembly District. I also pledge to lead by example and empower every resident, from our youth to our seniors, to be active and engaged in our communities.

Please use my webpage and the Assembly website to stay informed about legislation that matters to you. I encourage you to share your views with me by calling my office at 585-467-0410 or by emailing me at romeoj@nyassembly.gov. Whether you are opposed or support a specific initiative, your thoughts are important to me.

Thank you for visiting.
