Assemblyman Al Stirpe (D-North Syracuse) will host a series of town hall meetings on the governor’s proposed 2013-2014 state budget. These meetings will be held through out the month of February to allow local residents to have the opportunity to comment and obtain more information on the Governor’s proposed 2013-2014 state budget.

The meetings will take place on the following days at the following locations:

  • February 6th at the Manlius Town Library, 1 Arkie Albanese Ave. Manlius, 6:30p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
  • February 7th at the Tully Town Hall, 5833 Meeting House Rd. Tully 6:30p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

  • February 25th at the Community Center in Fabius, 7786 Main St. Fabius 6:30 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.

“Since the Governor released his budget proposal last month, I have been receiving correspondence from constituents who have a variety of concerns about the impact it could have on our community and Central New York as a whole,” Assemblyman Stirpe said. “People would like to know how it could affect our public schools, colleges, the health care system, and our local economy, amongst other things. It is my hope that these town hall style meetings will give people a chance to comment and ask questions about the proposal now so that I may go back to Albany armed with my constituent’s wants and needs and fight for our families

Anyone with questions regarding the town hall meeting or any other issue may call my district office at 452-1115, noted Stirpe.
