Aid to Municipalities Funding Increased in Assembly Budget
First increase to AIM funding in 5 years

Stirpe: Will continue to fight to ensure it is included in final budget
March 8, 2013

"In an effort to help ease the property tax burden that our hardworking families face, the Assembly budget will include, for the first time since 2008, a 10 percent increase in AIM funding that will hold steady over the next three years. I have been fighting relentlessly for additional funding for our towns and villages in order to help them meet their financial needs. And I will continue to fight to ensure this increased aid is included in the final budget later this month."
