Pelham, NY - During a ceremony held this morning, the Town of Pelham unveiled its new ambulance, which recently arrived in Pelham. Funding of $450,000 for the ambulance was secured from New York State by NYS Assemblywoman Amy Paulin, and State Senator Nathalia Fernandez, who attended the event along with Town of Pelham Board Members Maura Curtin and Kara McLoughlin, Town Supervisor Dan McLaughlin, and Deputy Town Supervisor Rae Szymanski.

Adding an ambulance to Pelham’s fleet of emergency vehicles has been a priority to the Town of Pelham, and this ceremony marks a significant milestone in the Town’s commitment to providing and improving the quality of emergency responsiveness in Pelham.

“I’m thrilled that we’ve been able to provide Pelham with the funding to purchase this new state-of-the-art ambulance,” said Assemblywoman Amy Paulin. “As a result, the Town is now equipped with a dedicated ambulance – improving emergency service response time, safeguarding residents’ health and enhancing the quality of life in Pelham. I thank my partner in the Senate Nathalia Fernandez for her support and assistance in the Senate to make the acquisition of the ambulance a reality.”
