Assemblymember Amy Paulin (D-Westchester) announced that she is seeking nominations of women who live in the Village of Tuckahoe for her 2025 Women of Distinction Awards to honor and recognize local women who have worked to improve their communities and positively impact the lives of others.

Each year Assemblymember Paulin awards applicants from different towns in her district, and this year she is awarding Village of Tuckahoe’s women. Awards will be given for work and accomplishments in the following categories: volunteerism, education, health care, business, humanitarian work, community/civic affairs, and the environment.

Winners will be honored at an awards ceremony on Sunday, March 16 at 2:00 p.m. at the Tuckahoe Community Center.

“It’s important that we recognize the remarkable women who are working to effect positive change in our communities,” said Assemblymember Paulin. “That’s why, in honor of Women’s History Month, I’m hosting a Women of Distinction Awards to pay tribute to those who are helping to make our communities a more vibrant place to call home. I hope that many community members will join me in celebrating these remarkable women.”

Assemblymember Paulin requests that nominations for the 2025 Women of Distinction Awards be submitted by 5:00 p.m. on Friday, February 21. Please submit nominee names and information supporting their nomination of up to 500 words to Assemblymember Paulin’s office by email to paulina@nyassembly.gov.
