Statement by Assemblywoman Amy Paulin on the Terror Attack in Boulder, Colorado

I am horrified and heartbroken by yesterday's brutal attack on peaceful demonstrators in Boulder, Colorado – an act of hatred targeting Jewish community members as they gathered to call for the release of Israeli hostages. This deliberate act of violence, carried out with a makeshift flamethrower, has left eight innocent people hospitalized, including two in critical condition. My thoughts are with the victims and their families, and I wish them a full and speedy recovery.

Every act of antisemitism is an attack on our core values of freedom and safety. We must stand united – Jews and non-Jews alike – in speaking out and affirming our commitment to a just and inclusive society for all.
